Reoccurring Yearly Projects

3 Harris Brother’s Birthday Bags – creating birthday celebration bags given to kids experiencing food or financial insecurity, in collaboration with the local school weekend food backpack program. This is an ongoing program that runs year round! Donations of needed supplies to fill the backpacks (cake mix, frosting, small gifts, and funds to buy other supplies) are always welcomed!

Babies with Books – for Regions Hospital NICU – each fall, we coordinate a baby book drive to collect new books to donate to the Regions NICU Babies With Books read-a-thon competition, which allows each baby in the NICU to receive and keep a new book as well as sustaining the “itty-bitty library” for NICU families to use year-round to read to their hospitalized babies. To include all families in reading, books are provided in English, Spanish, Somali, Mandarin and Hmong.

United Heroes League Gear Drive – in honor of Memorial Day, we are organize a youth sports gear drive by gathering and donating needed gear for youth sports such as baseball, basketball, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, and hockey.

THANK YOU to everyone who participates in our yearly Memorial Day sports gear drive! Your generous contributions will be distributed to military family kids all over the United States!

2021 Extra Projects

Make-A-Wish Toy Drive – for Make-A-Wish Minnesota – we coordinated a toy drive and delivered the toys and gifts to stock the Make-A-Wish gift closet to the brim! These gifts are sent to wish children as a reminder they are special and thought of as they wait for their wishes to come true.

2020 Extra Projects

Hope4YouthMN – coordinating fundraising efforts for “Out of the Cold” program to help homeless teens in the Minneapolis/St Paul area come out of the cold and receive shelter

Willernie Good Neighbor Project – sponsoring local families in need with Christmas gifts and other necessities for their children during the holidays

Safe Haven Foster Shoppe – coordinating donation drive for most needed items for teen kids currently placed in foster care.
